I thought I would enjoy this book more than I actually did. It was challenging to get through for me, because I felt like the characters fell flat and the plot was a little confusing to follow.

This book is so precious! I loved reading about the adventures of Percy, Felicity, and Monty! I laughed so much. As an aside, I read this along with listening to the audiobook and Christopher Coulsen does a marvelous job of narrating this novel!

This book is a short story that I received from Hidden Gems and that I have chosen to voluntarily review. I am still not quite sure how to gauge short stories, because I love books with a lot of world building and character development which is something I have found that short stories lack. This lead to a two star rating of this book for me.

Whenever I have a bit of free time, I’ll request a book or two from Hidden Gems. Out of the few I have been sent and approved, Resonance by Jennifer Greenhall has been one of my favorites. I would give this book four out of five stars, just because I believe the romance in the book was a little too rushed and unrealistic.

Romance novel covers always make me a little uncomfortable because of their tendency to be quite revealing. Her Mad Hatter by Marie Hall was a quick read that took me a few hours since it was only a little under 200 pages. I really just wanted something to read between The Cruel Prince and when my copy of Scythe would come in the mail, so this suited perfectly. For such a short book, it kind of fell short as well, as I would only give this book three out of five stars, since everything was rushed and I was not the biggest fan of the main character.

For some reason I have had the urge to read this book for nearly half a year now, but it always had 490129321 holds at the library. The urge got too strong, so I ended up just buying the book and it definitely did not disappoint. I was oddly drawn to this book and it has ended up being one of my favorites! This book had quite a few plot twists that shocked me to the point I put the book down for a bit and just stared as the realizations hit. Moreover, this book made me think a lot about morality, death, and humanity. Definitely five out of five stars. Also, minor spoilers once again, but nothing drastic to the story.
I normally read whatever I’m feeling at the moment, so this list is subject to change, but these are books I definitely want to get around to in the next month:
